Speech Therapy with Mrs. Colgan

My name is Heather Colgan and  I am one of the Speech Language Pathologists for Penn Trafford School District.  I started my profession working as a clinical speech therapist in a hospital setting before I came to Penn-Trafford in 2000. I am the therapist for McCullough Elementary  as well as one of the therapists for Penn Middle School and Penn-Trafford High School.  I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Clarion University of PA.  I have been a speech therapist for 25 years in the district and I maintain my Certificate of Clinical Competence through ASHA. 

I live in Lower Burrell with my husband Brian, and enjoy spending time with my family outdoors!  I have 2 sons, Brady and Brennen, who love to play baseball, soccer, skateboarding, and go fishing!

Every year,  I look forward to working with the students and helping them achieve their speech and language goals!  It is a very rewarding experience to watch each student expand their speech and language skills!!
