McCullough Fourth Graders Explore Color Value with Drip Designs

Fourth-grade students at McCullough Elementary have been learning about color value in a fun and creative way—by making vibrant Drip Designs in art class.

Under the direction of art teacher Mrs. Diana Cardamone, the students explored how changes in color value can create depth and visual interest in their artwork. “Rosalee Palko and Owen McFarland are having so much fun making drip designs, they are starting to dress like them,” Mrs. Cardamone said with a smile. “Rosalee’s earrings and Owen’s shirt match their drip design!"
