To teach her students about Veteran’s Day, McCullough Elementary School Student Learning Assistant Mrs. Rocca read a story with her first-grade students about veterans and they discussed what it means to serve their country. Then the students wrote letters to veterans thanking them for their service. Mrs. Rocca delivered the letters to the Pittsburgh V.A. Hospital in advance of the holiday.
