Ten students from across Penn-Trafford School District’s five elementary schools attended the IUP Band Summit in April.
Students were selected to attend based on their positive work ethic and performance in weekly band lessons. While at IUP, the students rehearsed during the day to prepare for the evening concert at Fisher Hall.
Penn-Trafford’s participants were Zoe Bell (clarinet), Maddie DelRosso (flute), Jack Fry (trombone), Miles Johnson (trumpet), Isaac Johnson (trumpet), Owen Johnson (trumpet), Declan Joyce (alto saxophone), Callie Klingensmith (clarinet), Hagen Offield (alto saxophone), and Cora Whetstone (clarinet).
