Communication Boards Help Students Express Themselves (9-1-21)

The Penn-Trafford School District has new Playground Communication Boards at each of its’ elementary playgrounds.  The boards give those students who have difficulty communicating a way to express themselves during play.  

This project was spearheaded by Sarah Loughner, a Speech-Language Pathologist at Penn-Trafford.  Funding was provided by the school district, and installation was handled by PTARC.
