Mrs. Kessler

Welcome

Hello, Families!

Welcome to Fourth Grade! I am SO happy to have each of your children in our classroom family! This school year, your child will flourish as he or she grows academically, socially, and emotionally, all while having fun each day! Our time together will be filled with many excellent experiences to help your child reach his or her full potential.

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in Child Development from Westminster College, a Master’s Degree in Reading and Language Arts from Duquesne University, and Certification as a Reading Specialist from Duquesne University. I previously taught First Grade in the Moon Area School District, Preschool at The Ark in Harrison City, and worked as a K-5 Student Learning Assistant here at McCullough.

I live in Penn-Trafford with my husband and our three children. My son is a freshman at Grove City College, I have a daughter in 10th grade at Penn-Trafford High School, and I have a daughter in 6th grade at Penn Middle School.

I am truly looking forward to meeting and working with your child and you. It's going to be a very special year!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Julie Kessler

School Supplies
  • The school will provide students with the school supplies that they need. If you would like, you may send in one sturdy folder to be used as a "take-home" folder, extra pencils, a few pens in any color, or a pack of colored pencils. This is optional. If you do send in extra supplies, please keep in mind that the desks have very little extra space!
  • Please send earbuds for your child to use with his or her Chromebook. To keep the earbuds clean, please place them in a sandwich bag or small container marked with your child's name.
  • Your child may keep a bottle of water with him/her throughout the day. (Water is the only drink that is permitted due to frequent spills!)
Thank you very much!
